My students have been able to use technology in many different ways this school year.
My newcomers are able to scan a QR code next to an object, which will then read aloud the name of the object, if they are unsure of what the object is called in English.
My students also use a variety of apps, which help them with language skills.

My students have started using ChatterPix, which is an awesome iPad app where they can take a picture of something (below is an example of a book) and make it talk. Below and on the left is a video of a student's recent work, in which they took a picture of a book we were studying and described the main idea of the book. To the right is a video of a student who took a picture of their writing and read what was written.
